It’s been awhile.
I have been busy writing, working on completing my education, and research, as well as my busy day job so I won’t apologize for neglecting my little piece of web space here. I’ll just check in.
I submitted a couple of stories for an anthology. Yes, they are related to my characters in “Lorca Green” and “Chanclas & Aliens.” El Dopey and Ruben return. Fingers crossed.
I’m writing another story about the Holy Grail, tacos, and cholos…Arthurian ones. Who says Arthuriana is only for gringos?
I found about about a Ph.D. program in Scotland that I really want to do, it’s about giants. Well, Celtic giants in medieval literature, but yes, GIANTS.
Work on the novel progresses slowly because estoy muy busy. I have found some old family photos from the brave souls that crossed over during the revolution and made it possible for me to have the life I live here. My Papa Tino, or great-grandfather Florentino as a young man is the image for this post. Que guapo, no?
Y aqui estoy, writing, researching, and thinking about giants and tacos. De buche, porfis. Oh yes, and I created a Llorona writing playlist on Spotify, so I have good company while I write.
